I fully understand the worries you may have leaving your property empty, so I offer a management and key holding service you can trust. I always let the police, fire and security services know to call me on your behalf if anything is reported during your absence.
There will be times through the year when your property in Spain is uninhabited. Do you not worry what could be happening in your absence? Why not ask us to be your eyes for you, and we will check, every week, every other week or even more if there has been inclement weather. Every year our winters change and seem much wetter than ever before, thus causing some damp problems which if not spotted early, will spread causing severe problems down the line.
Property management and key holding services are amongst our most popular services. Our clients need to know that every day of the year they have a trusted friend looking after the keys, who is able to welcome their other guests, manage cleaning staff, keep gardens and swimming pools maintained, and let you know about bills that need paying. Apart from the permanent and highly recommended members of our staff we employ professionals experienced in every field of maintenance, plumbers, electricians, builders, carpenters, etc. etc.etc.. In addition, being in possession of duplicate keys has proved to be hugely helpful when keys have been forgotten or even left inside the house!
Apart from personally checking the properties, on a regular basis, I also have a super team of cleaners and gardeners, who can be asked to do regular visits or just to anticipate your arrival – the visits tailor made to you requirements and budget.
Mailboxes are regularly checked, so any surprisingly high utility bill can be attended to promptly, so avoiding complications arising when the queries are then made months down the road. More importantly, such important charges as rates, water, electricity, gas and garbage, which even if they are on standing order, can easily, be overlooked. Then, months later when these accounts are overdue, the fees have been increased for late payment and a high surcharge initiated for re-connecting the disconnected services. Other regular occurrences can be avoided such as traffic fines and insurance premiums going unpaid. With me going through the mail, on a weekly basis such complications can be avoided.
